I had the pleasure of joining the I Do! Romance by SitInMySeats team for the annual Seminole Hard Rock Food & Wine Festival on Sunday, November 3rd.
We hosted a VIP lounge right next to center stage and our lounge had Bahama Breeze serving delicious appetizers along side fresh cocktails made with flavored vodkas. With the purchase of a VIP pass you were able to attend the festival one hour early, join our team in the beautiful lush white lounge and get a head start on the food lines. While many guests started to join us in our area, the calypso band started up with wonderful notes of Bob Marley. I then took some time to walk around and enjoy some food and wine tastings and somehow found myself volunteering for a cheeseburger tasting on stage.
There are no words to describe how full I was after trying all the vendors small plates. Any other time I would be more than excited to be on stage doing something fun but I was worried about taking even one more bite of food. After being escorted on stage the Chef explained how this cheeseburger was made with all fresh ingredients and topped with home made macaroni and cheese, I couldn’t pass that up. I bent down and took a huge bite, it was the most amazing burger I have ever tasted. I was then able to share the rest of the huge burger with my team and we all devoured it.
There are VIP tents, food, wine, live music, dancing and at this festival there was a Womens Lounge for us girls where we were pampered by Rock Spa and enjoyed a complimentary mini spa treatment and scrumptious treats hosted by 101.5 Lite FM Miami. The men enjoyed the Mens Lounge Area presented by 790 The Ticket where they can watch a game and enjoy hand rolled cigars.
The festival proceeds supported The Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital Foundation which made our experience more enjoyable. You can also donate on their website here.
Needless to say, we all had an amazing time and highly recommend going to a local wine & food festival as a great date idea-it has all the ingredients for a fun, romantic time!
